Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Vaytoven (the "Service") provided by Vaytoven, Inc. ("Vaytoven", "we", "us"). By creating an account, listing a property, booking a stay, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account, including authorising payment instruments. You may not share your credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or transact on the Service.
3. Bookings and cancellations
The applicable cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict) is shown on the booking page before you confirm. By confirming a booking you accept the policy that applies to it.
Refund mechanics for each policy are documented in the Vaytoven Help Center. Vaytoven service fees are non-refundable in all cases.
4. Hosting on Vaytoven
Hosts must complete Vaytoven payout enrollment, including identity verification (KYC), before payouts are enabled. Hosts grant Vaytoven a non-exclusive licence to display and promote their listings.
Hosts are responsible for compliance with all local short-term-rental laws, including registration, taxation, and any required permits.
5. Payments, fees, refunds
Travelers pay a 3% Vaytoven service fee at checkout. Hosts pay a 3% host fee on each booking. Members in the Managed Listing Program pay an upfront weekly program cost (currently in the range of $200–$800 per week plus applicable taxes, varying by property tier and season) plus a flat program subscription fee, both quoted in writing on the onboarding call before any commitment. All fees are shown clearly before you confirm.
We use third-party payment processors (NMI and certain alternates) to process card payments. By transacting on the Service you agree to the processor's terms.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution through Vaytoven Support is a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to compile a record of your access, consumption, and acceptance of these terms (a "Service Usage Confirmation") and to submit it to the issuing bank as evidence in any dispute. 7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes; (b) misrepresent your identity or property; (c) attempt to circumvent Vaytoven's fee structure by transacting off-platform after meeting through the Service; (d) interfere with the operation of the Service; or (e) violate any third-party rights.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaytoven disclaims all implied warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. When we do, we update the version and effective date and require renewed acceptance for active accounts. Your continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the amended terms.
