Vaytoven help center
How can we help?
Basics
- What Vaytoven does, and what it does not We advertise vacation properties. We do not take reservations, collect payment for a stay, or hold anyone's money.
- Member program or host subscription: which applies to me? Two separate services. Members pay once for a 180-day managed program; hosts pay a recurring 30-day subscription and manage their own listings.
Hosting
- Becoming a Vaytoven host Submit your details, start a recurring 30-day subscription, then create and manage your listings from your dashboard.
- Damage, deposits and protecting yourself Vaytoven provides no damage cover or insurance. You set your own deposit and terms with each guest.
- Listing requirements Smoke + CO detectors, fire extinguisher, basic first aid, and listing-quality photos. We help with the rest.
Members
- How the managed program works A one-time fee for a 180-day managed advertising term. Not a subscription. Guests pay you directly.
- Which clubs and programs are eligible Most major points-based programs work. Fixed-week and right-to-use systems are case by case.
- How members get paid Guests pay you directly. Vaytoven advertises your weeks and charges only for advertising and your subscription.
Offers
- How to submit an offer Pick your dates, name your price, submit. The listing member has 24 hours to respond. Nothing is charged.
- My offer was accepted — what happens now? You and the listing member arrange the stay and payment directly. Vaytoven is not part of that transaction.
- Cancellations and refunds Whoever took your payment handles it. Vaytoven never charged you for the stay, so it cannot refund one.
